So I have been a bad girl lately. I have been eating out wayyy to much as if I’m rich or something. Part of the reason is just wanting to get out of the office or just simply forgetting my lunch at home. I have plenty of food a home. I just haven’t been eating it. Excuses, Excuses. I intend to change this habit TODAY. No more excessive eating out for lunch. Once or twice a week is tops and it has to be CHEAP!
I have come up with a way to curve my spending. NO SPEND THURSDAYS!!! Starting on June 7th 2012 and every Thursday after that for the next month I will not spend any money on Thursdays. Of course that doesn’t include emergencies or things that are already written in my budget. This will just curve extra spending. I have seen others who have done no spend months where they only purchase things if absolutely need to.
On No-Spend Thursdays I will only purchase:
- Things already in my budget ( I.E. gas, bills)
- emergency items to meet basic needs( If I plan ahead I shouldn’t have to do this)
On No-Spend Thursdays I will not purchase:
- Fast food
- clothes
- shoes
- makeup
- anything that I could live without and that is not an emergency item
**Emergency items ( i.e car repair).
